June 1 Albuquerque NM I left shelter at 7am, walked to freeway 40 entrance. While I was waiting there, a car stopped, the window was open. A gentle man handled $20 bill to me. I asked "can you give me a ride?" He said"i can't" so I received the $20 and thanked him. I felt pretty good. I just stood here, someone gave me money. This is much better than working in safeway . Mike drove me to another entrance,he wrote his telephone number to me,told me i can call him if I have trouble. My heart was always touched by such words . Until now i have never been in trouble because there are so many people like Mike. Ketty is a heave lady, she drove me to the next town. Comparing most women, Ketty is very thoughtful and responsible. She drove through the town to show me where is grocery store,where is motel, just."in case " if i could not get ride. Super Luckily. When i was walking to the entrance with my sign west 40, A car was toward to the store the driver pointed the west 40 direction. I thought he let me go farther. When I came crack from the farther place,was just worried that might too few cars pass here. A car was coming and slowed down and stopped before me. He was that driver who pointed me the direction. His meaning was that he would go west 40. This was one of the best rides. His name is Philibi, a smiling face young Mexican . He was going to Pheonix to see his son. That meant he will pass through Albuquerque new Mexico . Philibi drove fast , along the road we passed many cars. I always trust fast drivers more than slow ones, because i know that fast drivers are focused on driving, that is much safer than those who thought of other things in mind or busying something else in hands. Certainly i don't agree faster is safer. Philibi said he alway picks hitchhikers, he doesn't like to see people to walk on road. He is blessed that God gave him passionate heart and like to help others . Philibi has active characteristic, he sang with radio or made whistle along the road. When we were getting close to Albuquerque, I thought he would drop me at some exit and continue his journey. We stopped at McDonald , he searched map, and then the iPhone told him to turn left turn right,he drove me until Neal's house.And called Neal to make sure it was correct, Neal promised he will come in 20 minutes. This was door to door full service.not only, He handled me $20. I said no. You 've already drove 300 miles. He insisted. Philibi left, he continued his journey to Phoenix. except 300 miles and $20, He left his singing, his whistle, his smile in my heart. Any racism is not correct. Philibi is a good example.I think myself is a good example too. Doesn't matter how many Latino lie but Philibi was so nice. Chinese lie much more than Latino. But I am honest. Let us to be us, let me to be me. God control this world. Philibi is Mexican, I am Chinese. We all can be good in God. I waited for Neal in the shade under the tree. I sat there and took off shoes . I just enjoyed the relaxable time while I was typing IPod. Neal's size suprised me when he got out of car. He is not big at all comparing average american, it was my imagination that happened mistake. I thought he is a small man when I saw his photo on the couchsurfing website. This is similar Christopher 's imagination about Sean. I quickly stood up, without shoes, I ran to hug Neal. Neal guided me to my bedroom, showed me the functions in the house. And then we left home.Neal went back to work, I waited for him in library. 4:30pm he came back, i with him went to take his son Nike and daughter Tattaly for weekend. Nike is 10 years old, with a pair of big glasses, he is a cute boy,running, playing, or sinking in computer... I think he knows he is the cutest in the whole world. Tattaly is 15, ready to get driver license. She loves to drive. As Neal said, she doesn't know she is beautiful. But God blessed her with beauty.she is beloved in God and in human's eyes. This place can remind you of all your memory about how warm and sweet home is. Neal has a nice yard, 5 chickens, a 14-years-old dog, some tomatoes, lettuce, strawberries were growing well in the garden. Nike went to chicken 's house to look for eggs, now he has egg in his every hand. The chicken is so tender in Neal's arms. I watched this picture, how sweet home, how beautiful life, I could not imagine that Neal and his wife are going to divorce. God created the world by love, who created divorce? We had wonderful dinner in a Chinese restaurant. I hope I can cook chinese food for Neal and kids next time when I visit them. After dinner, Tattaly went to see her friend. Neal, Nike and i walked to park. Nike was always busy. He played frisbee, looked for 5 leaves clover, danced in swing... I was so happy to share such peaceful wonderful evening with Neal and Nike. It was close full moon.Nike was sleeping inside. Neal and I sat on the benches and enjoyed ice cream under moon light. Exchange thoughts is a beautiful thing. That was nice talk with Neal. About Albuquerque, my all memory is around Neal family, it was warm and sweet time on my journey.
