August 31 Golden CO Keith came back at 10pm last night, he went to AA meeting, there was a telphone massage from Athur. Do they talked on phone about meeting , he was happy about the meeting. And then he started to cook . I told him, I was full because of the last big lunch , so he just cook for himself , he cooked Simon fish , I tried a bit , I have to agree he is great at cook . I ate a banana and a aprocute . He slep I his bed , he slep on floor. He has a very good mattress . Morning I got up at 7:30, Keith said he was tired. He works at night . My visiting bothered his regular time. After got up, keith cooked egg and chees, we ate breakfast. Drop me , police woman checked me , she called" california ..., even I didn't noticed , a policeman came . She told me illegi, someone hurt you, I said no one hurt me, they all love me. Some one robe your money . If they want , I gave them all. I have not too much. She asks my ID card, Weapon. My mind thought of weapon. God , , but I could not speak anything , she is beatiful, tall, I thought woman 's heart minght be hard, but I told myself , don't think this way , pray, pray she is nice , she great me good . I walk toweard bud station. I did not want to take bus , so I tied thumb , then I walked toward north , a big truck stopped . His name is Tim, he is very nice person, s Going to Oklahoma , I couldn't follow him, we share our journey 30 miles. Next ride is a big truck too, his name is John , he was going to golden city kansasa upload beef , and then drive them to chicago . I even felt his looking is samilar Tim, he use ridio to try to help me find next ride to north . I was lucky enough, just stood at the roadside, a big truck stopped. His name is John , I felt his looking is samilar Tim, he was going to Denver , so I got a long ride, John buthrday oct 2 , younger than me 2 days, he dirvorce , 3 adult kids. His home at Toledo , lake Erie . He stay at his brother 's home when he off work. H e sleep in truck , the truck is his home . His wife is Oder them him, 51. The land before Denver is flat. He tried used ridio to find ride for me, I got out truck at truck stop. I thought to stay at jennmary 's place but I could find the telphone . A old man picked me up, he was going to restrant to eat with friend , he droop me at Golden. It was after 6 , I thought I should stay here or keep going , a car stoped, I got in , he dove me 5 miles. I waited there long time. Almost 8pm, two deer , mountain . I walked to houses , ask help , a old man a little girl walked around house, I talked them, the man answered " no" , he told me where is church , but don't tell me pastor's name. He refused to give me ride to drive me back to town. I rang the next house , a man opened the door, he closed the door before finishing listening to me. Next one a lady opened the door, I told her my story, showed her my ID, i felt hope, , her husband behind her. Her answere is " no" " I feel uncomfortable " I thought if couchsuffing hosts , how open they are, they did not feel "uncomfortable" to let stranger sleep at their home. They even look fit strangers to help . Yasse, Kiki, even that driver who pick me from Oxnard to my husband hometown. They are good . That much better than those did not see me , simply closed the door. I decided give up try, I saw a old man with a dog walking . He refuse me , I asked for a ride to down town, he suggest me to cross bridge to store. I insisted , finally he agree to give a ride. He went to back leave dog and told his wife. I got in car , he drove me the Golden, asks for shift police station . He urgent to go back , let me take out my bag from his car, . I thought I may need a ride to the address , if police find a place to let me stay , he said they police will give you ride. Helping me is a big suffer for him. We wait there, I told Gorgey i don't want him spend too much time , so I took out my bag, he may go home.he totally agree with that . When we went out , we saw twi police cars came. So Goegy report them about me. Whole we was talking,Goerge left,. I thanked him, shakes hands and big hug. I know he needed that. He was not happy to help me. I really appreciated him, and I should let him know his his help is important and be thanked to others. The young Policeman said there is homeless shelter in Golden, there are in Denver. Denver is in east . I am going to west. That's not problem. But I can't hitch hike to Denver. If they drive me there, I would like to sleep in Denver . The police man mentioned vouch , I don't know what is Vouch. He explained it is church help to find a place to stay. I thought that would be good. He said he will ask his boss, he went inside . Another two policewomen talked with me. They looked happy about my story. after little while , the young policeman came out with a paper in his hand and my ID card. He told me I take that form And ID , to show them. That 's all . I noticed there was a inn name on the form. That is beyond my thought They put me in hotel . He told me only one night . I said yes. He said if tomorrow I stay no place. They cannt give me same treat . Tomorrow I might be several hundreds miles away. He take my bag to put in the back of car. It is more than 4 months I carry my bag. Just a few times my drivers or my hosts help me to take my bag. In fact I noticed that every time, I am very thankful every time. I remembered Gorgey whom picked me in San fresco took my bag when we arrived his home. He also hosted me a night. Andrew in Norfolk went out to take my bag, while my driver was coming in this way with my bag in his hand. He let me sit in car in the back seat. A policewoman asked out because of " sorry , we need check if you have any weapons before you get in car" . I got out, stand in standard position. She did simple check . That reminded that policeman White in Morganton, comparing her, he checked me over strict. I thought my guessing might be right, he just "like" to check me. When The young man opened the back , he found it was full, so he changed the mind, he said his boss will drive me to there. he put my bag in another car in back seat. They let me sat the frond seat. Certainly , in police car, the front seat and the back seat are different. This is the 4 th time I sat in police car, the second time in front seat. The first time I was in front seat , It was from Mendocino to Fort Bragg, I hitch hiked at the traffic light in the mendocino high way 1 , a shift car stoped and picked me , drove me to Richard 's home, I worked on that day. Two times back seats happended in Chicago and Morganton . The boss is a very beautiful young lady, with two big dimples. " you are the boss? You are young!" " supervisor " the uniform adds more energy and beauty on her. I think she can beat movie star. I asked her name, she took a card to me. I thought it was her , the boss, improved to use rescue found to let me stay in hotel a night. I thought to stay outside, here I'd mountain, nighttime is cold, I have no jacket, I forget my sweater in a restaurant when I crossed the boarder in Canada. She drove me to mountain view inn. She pointed me there is a gas station store, so I can buy food. I can take shower and have good rest in hotel. She is so nice. As the police man said , I came in and show the man who works in the desk the form and my ID, he gave me the room key, told me where is the step I can get there. It is a beautiful room. I thought I would sleep on concrete ground on street, or a simple bed in homeless shelter, but God gave me two queen size beds. We cannot imagine how big God 's grace. I felt a little bit guilty, I am just traveling , I should take warmer clothes to prepare to stay outside. But this great country rescued me from cold street. I thank God, thank this Great country , my homeland. I love her with my whole heart. When I was in Raleigh , in the park there is a statue, three soldiers , two helps another the wounded one. When I saw that statue, tears was full of my eyes. The peace, how many people put down their lives, so we can have peace, in our country, in the world. Without peace , I can't travel whole country or whole world , I may even feel fear at home with closed the door. I swore to the american flag on July 26,2011, I would like to fight for freedom for this country, I would like to put down my life for the peace of this country. I am a christian, someone may think christian should not go to war. I agree with disposle Paul, we fight good fights. Christian certainly should join on battle, and should be good soldiers . Without God, without world peace, without this great country, without so many people 's help in every day, there is not my this trip at all. Thank God, thank the US , America, my homeland, thank all people I met, every one is a part of my journey of my life. I called Sean to report peace . I wrote email to Christopher. It was two days I did not email anyone , the first night I stayed in Ming's truck , next day I stayed in Keith's home, there is no Internet in his home. I was tired to go out to use wifi after 700 miles in truck. Christopher responded, "i was worried " because two day no my news. I think of him every single day, no exception. I am sure he does same to me, he just has never told me that.he had never told me he would pick me every evening, but he did. I believe men's love is bigger than women's, so sometimes I think he may love me more than I love him.
