August 23 clayton Adie dropped me at 40 east entrance, I was going to wilmington. This is a good spot, I was confidence to get a good ride, so I stood there thumbing up with smile. A car truck stopped, there were three Latino men inside, one of three can speak english. They gave a short ride, and dropped me at a extramily difficult spot, the speed is too fast. I tried to thumb , very soon I give up the mind, tried to think hitchking backward or walk to the exit. While I was walk with left hand thumbing, a car stopped in far away under the bridge, I ran to it. The driver's name Stanley, the first setance he asked " why you walk?" " let me take break , and then I tell you" while I caught breath after running with big backpack. Stanley suggest me to go his home to eat something and take shower. And then he can take me back to 40 , I can continue to Wilmington. I said I can work for you. He gave his business card. I saw his job is cleaning service , he showed me some photos, his job is to clean building.i didn't understand how to clean building inside or outside, I was housekeeper, I understand clean house as a housekeeper. I can clean house , I can work for you . He think , you can clean window , Vocum , cook ,,iron my cloth . " yes" He think. " that 's too funny" " my kids will think weird", he drive me to his house , tell me what I do. I started to work . I worked until after 2pm , he said no work after 2, his housekeeper work from 8 - 12. I ve already work 4 hours. My bedroom is in the 3rd floor . It is pretty big, I though I would sleep outside in Wilmington, but God is provider, he gave me a comfortable bed. I did Landry , fold Landry , clean kichen,bathroom. Vocum, stanley came " no more work after 2:00pm " . His son Andrew was on the couch . I asked him what time it is now . 2:15, I said I will finish Vocum. After I have done Vocum and fold more Landry . I went to my bedroom, take a nap. I asked Stanley if he wanted me to cook dinner , he said he will take kids to meeting in school, they will come back home at 9pm. They were gong , just I and dog Philly were at home. Stanly came to ask my plan for tomorrow, I said if he like to me stay one more night, he has some work for me to do , I may stay one more night, otherwise I will go to Wilmington. He let me clean the sunroom 's window , we went downstair , he showed me how to do it. I has good rest after hard work. I enjoyed my comfortable bed.
